Job Description
Rococo Health Care Services, LLC, seeks to fill the position of Activities Provider Director to work at its office at 741 N. Nelson Rd., Olathe, KS 66061. Job description: Design and supervise a physical and mental activity program in a care facility setting for elderly people and/or those with disabilities. May need to assist with lite housekeeping if needed. Participate and observe the resident doing their physical and mental activities, to make sure that they are done correctly and safely. Will interact with residents for mental exercise, such as asking questions about their past or about historical events for the purpose of advancing mental acuity. Will encourage and motivate residents to engage in activity programming. Will observe residents and report any problems noted. Must be creative and positive to promote residents' wellness. Will supervise the work of the Activities Provider Assistants as they implement the activities program. Position requires 24 months experience working with the elderly in a memory care facility, or working with patients in a health care facility who need help with daily living.
